It can be difficult to sustain the urge to learn for long periods of time. 1. Create a suitable study environment

Generating the correct analysis location is an important part of any successful study session. As humans, we are creatures of habit. And for you to get into a routine and focus on your studies, you need a dedicated study space where your brain knows what it needs to learn.

If you are studying from home, it is essential to try to locate your study space in an area that you do not associate with relaxation. Naturally, for students at home or in university accommodation, it can be difficult to allocate a room or an entire office for their studies. In this situation, try to find a small open space where you can sit each day and move away when you are done learning. It can be your dining table or a shared family office.

2. Set clear, precise goals

One of the key reasons you can stay focused while studying is to understand exactly why you want to study in the first place. This means not just writing, "I want to do well in my exams," but being precise in details.

If you want a certain grade, write it down; if you're hoping to get into a particular university, include it in your final exams; anything you can do to make your final exams as colorful and "real" as possible will make them more impressive.

4. Along with a study ‘ritual’

A great place to start is to create a pre-analysis ritual, such as tidying up your desk space, taking a short walk around the block, producing a to-do list, or doing a 10-minute yoga session to focus your mind.

Taking this time to set up your studies as is will not only physically prepare you for an analysis session, it will also help your brain run to recognize and transition into a focused state effortlessly. The more you practice this 'ritual' before you sit down to learn, the more society your brain will have with the need to focus and motivate you.
