Summary: The online International Recruitment and Admissions Representative position is responsible for student recruitment and admissions for Aston American University’s online school programs. This work from home, online position includes heavy phone calls on a daily basis. High speed internet and a quiet work environment is a must. Main responsibilities consist of outside sales, recruiting prospective students for enrollment into academic programs, and recruiting businesses for partnerships. Excellent customer service through written and verbal communication is expected.
Key Job Elements:
- Explain educational programs with accuracy including the ESL (English as a Second Language) prep and various test prep programs
- Explain with accuracy: expected outcomes, student services and benefits of the university
- Manage prospective inquiries to achieve prompt contact to meet weekly performance activity goals
- Manage leads and contacts for both individual candidates and business-to-business prospects
- Follow-up with contacts within 24 hours
- Recruitment: make prompt and effective contact with inquiries
- Ask for referrals: phone and in-person contacts
- Participate in recruitment and enrollment activities including: college and career conferences, conduct seminars, presentations, training sessions, career days and other meetings
- Enroll students into academic programs
- Work closely with the admissions department and student advisors
- Ensure student satisfaction once students have been enrolled to academic programs
- Report to the managing director
Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 years of admissions recruitment or business-to-business outside sales experience
