Job Requirements:
- Provide expertise in the content areas and teach 2-3 courses in the bachelor or master’s programs
- Online mentoring: Be available to instructors/students for questions and online support
- Respond to instructor/student inquiries about content, course, learning resource, or assessment
- Conduct annual performance reviews and class audits for each course
- Communicate professionally with diverse instructor/student populations around the world
- Must have prior international teaching experience – preferably with online learners
- Manage online adjunct faculty: Motivate and empower instructors/students to develop competency in subject areas
- Research: Gather materials, data and resources from own teaching experiences to enrich programs and suggest new programs in different study areas
- Report monthly to directors on faculty and student statuses
- Make suggestions on improvements in procedures and policies
- Doctoral degree required
- Teaching experience required – online teaching experience is a plus
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Superior organization, prioritization, and self-motivation skills
- Strong computer literacy skills with: Microsoft Office Suite, Skype, Google apps and Docebo LMS platform
- Must have prior experience working with an international student base and relating to ESL (English as a Second Language) learners
Abilities:
- Ability to work in a virtual environment in a home office efficiently with no supervision
- Ability to interact effectively as either a leader or as a member of a team and work collaboratively
- Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines
- Ability to speak a second language is helpful
