Job Requirements:
• Adjunct part time as an online instructor for Aston American University.
• Online instructors needed for BA and MBA courses: working with students, answering questions, and providing online support.
• Other responsibilities include holding office hours, mentoring students, effectively managing courses, and responding to student inquiries about the course, course content, and learning activities.
• Communicate professionally with a diverse global student population.
• Motivate and empower students to develop competency in subject area.
• Master's degree required for BA courses, doctoral degree strongly preferred.
• Doctorate degree required for MBA courses with credit hours in the subject matter taught required.
• Online teaching experience required.
• Course development opportunities are available: syllabus creation, provide subject matter expertise in the content area, develop presentations, and create learning activities.
• Course development requires working closely with the chief academic officer to edit and revise course materials until ready for adding to the online classroom.

Required Skills:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must have previous course content and curriculum development experience.

• Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Skype, Google apps, and online learning management systems.
Abilities:
• Ability to interact effectively as a member of a team and work collaboratively with others.
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.
• Ability to speak a second language is helpful.
